Board exams—the term itself might be similar to a decisive battle like Waterloo—for the students, teachers, and parents as well.

Significantly, 80% of students experience anxiety related to exams. Students who are stressed about exams won't always have a companion like Rancho from the film 3 Idiots. However, keep in mind that exams are merely a phase of life and not the end. It is a summary of everything you have learned, and the board exam serves as a stage for you to demonstrate your understanding of your educational path.

Therefore, as a state first rank holder in IPE, I am emphasizing the necessity of a holistic approach.

Understanding each given topic is crucial. You won't be able to prepare well if you don't comprehend the fundamental ideas. As a result, make sure you attend every class and get all of your questions answered about any given topic or subject.

Learn the material and try to create a reasonable schedule that works for you. To succeed, develop good time management skills. Make sure you provide adequate time for revision when you are making the study program. Steer clear of last-minute cramming.

By rearranging key information, definitions, and concepts for the key subjects into charts, diagrams, mind maps, or outlines, you can simplify your study and provide visual aids that will help you understand difficult concepts.

Avoid using too many books and internet resources. To achieve high grades, you only need your textbook, sample papers, and past years' questions.

You risk losing focus if you spend too much time on one topic. After an hour or so, take a break and go over difficult subjects again. Regular revisions are necessary to keep the graph consistent.

Practice writing as you work through the previous year's exam papers. This enables you to write the exam efficiently.

In addition to studying, fuel your body and brain with a balanced diet and enough sleep. It can be beneficial to use methods like yoga, deep breathing, or journaling about your concerns. Don't feel bad about taking short breaks. A mind that gets enough rest is more capable of doing better and is more focused and attentive.

Last but not least, avoid thinking negatively when preparing for the board. It impacts your mental stability as well as your readiness. Think positively at all times. Keep telling yourself that Edison—you are a genius!
